Located in Red Brick Warehouse Building No. 2, bills offers an all-day dining experience with fresh, light dishes that were first made in Sydney, Australia. The menu features a variety of items that have captivated Hollywood celebrities, including scrambled eggs and toast, which has been described as the "best egg dish in the world." These pancakes are made with whole wheat flour and berry pulp fried to a fluffy finish. They are garnished with strawberries, pistachios, and matcha.
This dish is Short Rib Shiitake Broth, Noodles, Raw Salad, Sezchuan Salt (2000 yen). This "bills style ramen" was inspired by the city of Yokohama, where ramen culture first took root. The egg noodles are perfectly soaked in a light broth, topped with a candy beet salad with a unique, naruto-like look.

The terrace seating is enclosed in glass walls on all sides, resulting in a bright space with a sense of openness. Sit on the all-white sofas for a view of the ocean beyond the plaza and look out at everything from the docked luxury liners to the Yokohama Bay Bridge.

Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse
A historic building that has witnessed the modernization of Japan
Built between the end of the Meiji period and the beginning of the Taisho period, it was Japan's first warehouse equipped with cargo elevators, fire hydrants, and fire doors. In 2002, the historic buildings were renovated. Building No. 1 was turned into a cultural facility with halls and exhibition spaces, while Building No. 2 was turned into a commercial facility with restaurants and shops.
The second floor of Building No. 2 has a balcony with views of the Minato Mirai area to the left, Akarenga Park in the front, and the sea to the right. With benches to sit on, the balcony is the perfect place to take a break after a meal and feel the sea breeze.
Ring the bells together to make your dreams come true! Discover a spot with romantic energy
Did you know there are Bells of Happiness on the seaward side of the balcony on the second floor of Building No. 2? It is said that if you come to ring the bells together with that special someone, your wishes will come true. This romantic spot features a view of the sea unfolding in front of you that even lights up at night. It's a great place not only for couples but also for friends to make a wish for good fortune in their love lives.
If you look closely at the pillars that support the bells, you'll see the words, "May your love last forever."
There is an event plaza between Building No. 1 and Building No. 2. Various events are held seasonally, including the Yokohama Oktoberfest, Japan's first Oktoberfest celebration. At night, the warehouse will light up in orange, and the view will feel like a scene from a movie or drama.

Yokohama Marine Tower
A symbolic port tower renovated as a spot to connect the city with the people
Yokohama Marine Tower closed in March 2019 and reopened in September 2022 after renovations. Based on the concept of "connecting with the city, connecting with the people," the walls have been greened to create a sense of harmony with the lush surrounding environment. The tower is home to gourmet restaurants and shops that embody the atmosphere of a seaside town, as well as a gallery where you can see works of art related to Yokohama.
The Yokohama Marine Tower was built as a symbol of the city as part of a project to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the port. About 230 LED lights are used in the 106-meter-tall tower, which shines with twinkling lights at night. Events such as live street music and markets are held at the open square at the entrance.
You can take the designated elevator to the 29th and 30th floors, which are the observation floors. On a clear day, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Fuji and Yokohama Port that unfolds in every direction around you. The media art gallery on the 30th floor is said to offer a fusion of night scenery and digital artwork.
Tasteful items in Yokohama colors everywhere you look
The Marine Tower Shop on the second floor has a lineup of goods inspired by old nautical charts, as well as original Marine Tower merchandise and items from Yokohama 001, a local brand of the city. The ocean-themed stationery and sweets make perfect souvenirs.
Try out the limited Yokohama edition marine-colored Blue Dal chocolates (183 yen per bottle). Yokohama caramels in the form of dice feature illustrations of Yokohama as the eyes (259 yen per pack of five).
Nautical charts are replaced at the slightest change in topography, allowing old ones to be recycled into stationery and paper bags. Old nautical chart message cards are 440 yen. You can also pick up some original goods, such as border-patterned Marine Tower sticky notes (396 yen).

Kocho Saro
Enjoy a Hong Kong-style dim sum experience at a new restaurant operated by the Kocho Group
With more than 600 establishments, Yokohama Chinatown is now known as one of the world's largest Chinatowns. The exotic district is always vibrant, with delicious food and rare ingredients everywhere you look. From gourmet restaurants to shops, new establishments are popping up one after another.
This time, we visited Kocho Saro, which opened in December 2022 on Shanghai Road in Chinatown. Run by the Kocho Group, this Hong Kong dim sum restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with a total of 100 seats. Sit at a table or on a sofa and enjoy your fill of Chinese breakfast or authentic dim sum.
Dim sum starts at 500 yen per plate, so we recommend ordering a variety of dishes and sharing them with the whole table. The three-piece plate of plump shrimp red glutinous rice crepe is served with three types of special sauce for 980 yen. There is a wide variety of authentic a la carte dishes, including porridge and dessert.
The signature dish is the magic custard bun. A plate of two costs 580 yen. Savor the creamy custard that emerges from the fluffy pastry.
Relax with a cup of fragrant Chinese flower tea
For 600 yen, you can enjoy a pot of flower tea. Various fragrances and flavors are available, such as happocha, which contains a variety of ingredients, and jasmine tea carnations, whose petals slowly open when hot water is poured. Refills of hot water are offered after you finish your pot.
Kocho Saro is also one of the few places in Chinatown where you can enjoy breakfast (from opening until 10:30 a.m.). We recommend enjoying the exotic atmosphere with a simple and flavorful Chinese breakfast of porridge, fried bread, or soy milk.
